"Another Metroid 2 Remake is an unofficial fangame remake of the 1991 game Metroid II: Return of Samus for the Game Boy. This game improves the gameplay of the original game and adds various new features. The development of the game took around 10 years and it was made with GameMaker Studio. The game received very positive reviews and it was nominated in The Game Awards 2016 for "Best Fan creation" but it was later removed from the nomination. The game was taken down due the development of the official game Metroid Samus Returns, but later his creator Milton Guasti (also known as DoctorM64) was hired to design levels for the game Ori and the Will of the Wisps. DoctorM64 did such an incredible work with this fangame, I hope one day that he decides to start a totally new game based in this one" (From the Internet Archive repost)
