Note: The text formatting issues on the intro are a patch issue, not our fault. "Wildbill wanted to hold off on a full release until everything was finished, most notably the intro text formatting and some graphics"...."the horrible script formatting (or rather, lack of) has been fixed in this release, making it one hundred percent playable now. Like I said, the only problems are with the intro text, some graphics, and some other little things."

This patch seems to successfully fix a major bug in Magic Destiny’s version 0.99 English translation. The player can 100% reliably reproduce this game-crashing bug by giving a name to an unidentified item and then, without completely leaving the menus, going back to any of the four rubrics of the Main Menu. Closing the menus fully upon renaming an item, on the other hand, prevents the crash from happening. This bug occurs not only in the Bonus Dungeon of the game, but also in the Main Dungeon and sometimes leads to the SRAM file’s corruption, ruining the playthrough. This bug is caused by a memory buffer overrun introduced with the code changes the translation made to the “Name” menu.
