Game Description:
Casper (KSS) (キャスパー) is a Action-Adventure video game published by KSS, Natsume released on March 14th, 1997 for the SNES.
So, we have two "Casper" games in the SNES/SFC. Both apparently have Natsume involved in it, but as developer of one (this one) and publisher of the other (developed by Absolute and released in the west). I've seen Nihon Soft System being credited as developed of this japanese release, so if you know who's the actual dev, let us know in the comments.
Some animations feel like rotoscopy from 3D, to me. I think that's cool:

Anyway,
"I am abandoning this project because the intro contains compressed text and a few cutscenes use a sprite-based font which I cannot hack. As is, all in-game dialogue is translated and inserted, so I consider the game very playable, even if incomplete."
