Game Description:

BOF2 Maeson does a large scale rebalance of the game (check included documentation).
It comes in two varieties: one for the original game's script and one that works with Ryusui's Retranslation.

Author(s): Maeson
Type: Improvement
Version: 1.6
Date: 10th of June, 2024
Status: Fully Playable
Source: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3272/

RB's Notes 1: For the Retranslation, the title screen and status screen styles are left at the defaults set by it and Maeson's rebalance. Please understand that there are far too many permutations to account for.

Additionally, excellent patches by other authors are also embedded, these being:

Agi Up Fix and Keep Great Bird by Ieszy, Unfusing Less by PHA_PHX_PHY_PHP.

RB's Notes 2: I reuploaded this to account for the fact Maeson's hack already changes characters' spellbooks extensively, and there is a high likelihood that Flame Purge's patch for Nina's spells is either unneeded or even detrimental, so it has been removed.

RB's Notes 3: Check the Extra Patches subfolder if you'd like to change the encounter rate; these excellent patches are the fine work of Ok Impala!

RB's Notes 4: This is explained in the documentation, but don't use the Gold/Exp doubling patches on top of the hack, as they are already active and could cause problems if applied.

I like searching for cool hacks and translations of old games that were left in Japan. All translation and hacking credits go to their respective authors. I don't translate games :)
