- [Eng Dub] patch replaces almost all Japanese text in the game with English assets from the European release. The exception is the checklist titles under "Extras" mode, but the hints are in English and the bonus screenshots are from the English release. This patch also replaces all Japanese voiceovers, movies, SFX, with the English ones. These include the English CD audio title screen audio, and the end of chapter static screen voiceovers audio.Speaking of which... the end result here is a version of the game almost identical to the European release, except running in NTSC 60hz, without cutting short the end of chapter static screen voiceovers audio (that's what happens if you run the PAL version game in NTSC mode).
- The other patch, will give you all the same Japanese to English text replacements. But this version keeps the original Japanese voiceovers, movies, SFX, and the Japanese title screen.
Spike's Note: Seems to me this game has no subtitles so without the English dub you'd have no idea what's being said. Both versions tested in RetroArch Mednafen Saturn core.
This was localized in PAL territories only as "Keio Flying Squadron 2" with an added "point system".
Alternative spelling: "Keiou Yuugekitai: Katsugeki-hen".
