Note: The start of the Festival of Regina Leone FMVs are not hardsubbed; you can watch those cutscenes subtitled on YouTube as a workaround (spoiler-free, only a couple of lines of fluff per cutscene).
The game just freezes with re-encoded FMVs after the video playback finishes, I haven't found a solution to replicate the game's oddball obscured encoding settings so far.
The Memorial Fires FMVs are softsubbed, though.
FFX-2 trailer accessible from the main menu was relinked for the opening video.
