Game Description:
Track & Field is a Sports video game published by Konami and developed by Konami released on 1985 for the NES.
Originally released as two separate games in Japan:
- Hyper Olympic (Japan) (1985)
- 100 Meter Dash
- Long Jump
- 110 Meter Hurdles
- Javelin Throw
- Hyper Sports (Japan) (1985)
- Skeet Shooting
- Archery
- Triple Jump
- High Jump
There's also a Limited Edition of Hyper Olympic:
- Hyper Olympic (Japan) (Genteiban!) (1985)
- Same gameplay as standard Hyper Olympic version
- Added a Select Event menu
- Has a different sprite for the main character
Konami later combined the events from Hyper Olympic and Hyper Sports into a single NES release in North America titled:
- Track & Field (USA) (1987)
- Contains all 8 events
Several years later, the game was released in Europe with a slightly different name and title screen:
- Track & Field in Barcelona (Europe) (1992)
- Same gameplay as USA version
Notes:
