Donkey Kong: Original Edition is a Platformer 2D video game published by N released on 2010 for the NES.
In October 29, 2010 Nintendo released an enhanced port of the original Donkey Kong to the Wii VC to celebrate Super Mario Bros.'s 25th Anniversary.
This version of Donkey Kong has a few enhancements, right off the bat you can notice the title screen has a black background in opposed to the blue background, some animations were restored like DK climbing the ladder to the next level, but most importantly is the infamous Pie Factory level being restored and fully playable.
This version was released pre-installed on some Wii systems only in Europe, then in September 2012 it was released in Japan and later October that same year in the US and Europe for the 3DS VC.
