Game Description:
Screamer is a Racing video game published by Virgin Interactive and developed by Graffiti released on 1995 for MS-DOS.
This is a pretty good arcade style racing game that could have possibly rivaled Ridge Racer had it been fixed up a bit and released on PS1. The game physics are a little too drifty slidey and that makes it a little hard to control but overall, it's a fun and nice looking racer.
How to Run:
Recommend emulator is DOSBox-X
- Change CPU cycles to 150000
- Mount folder Screamer (PC - DOSBox) as hard drive on C: drive
- Mount Screamer.cue from CD folder as disc on D: drive
- In DOSBox-X type C: and enter then cd SCREAMER and enter
- To configure game options or controls type setup.exe and enter to launch the config tool
- To play the game in high res mode type starth.exe and enter for low res use startl.exe (there's really no need tho)
- The game can be played with a joystick if you set it up for it in the setup.exe config
