Game Description:
A hack centered around asymmetrical combat where each enemy Pokémon is like miniboss or boss, with multiple HP bars, smart AI and good move selection. At the hub you pick from a number of "Legends", procedurally generated dungeons with a fixed boss encounter at the end.
Each Legend gives you a specific team to build around of, and each enemy Pokémon you defeat leaves behind a unique move you can then teach to one of your team members. Among notable features is instant switching and enemy move prediction, putting the focus on strategy rather than grinding.

RB's Notes: This one is really, really different, completely out of the usual Pokémon wheelhouse, so don't expect an easy time. Make sure to read the combat notes in the playable character's room.
RB's Notes 2: It may not work correctly on all emulators.
For VBA-M, use a recent nightly from here: https://nightly.visualboyadvance-m.org/
If unsure, use mGBA.
