OutRun: Amiga Edition (PC) Amiga

This is a true rewrite/reassemble of the original arcade version of OutRun over to Amiga PCs. Unlike other previous official ports of OutRun for Amiga (like the one by US Gold from 1989) this is extremely close to the arcade original and even uses the MAME rom files of the game for the reassemble thing. It has the real graphics and tiles/sprites from those roms, but the music was converted over to the Amiga MOD format and may sound slightly different (sounds very similar to me tho) The official ports were all subpar arcade conversions and were dumbed down a bunch in order to function on Amiga hardware back then. This one however is a true proper port and is the best way to play OutRun on an Amiga PC.

How to Run:

1. This post works best with my previous post of the preconfigured Amiga Workbench installation through WinUAE, but if you're knowledgeable in Amiga and have a Workbench setup of your own or have a real Amiga PC model then you can use those instead.
2. Using the files from that other post copy the OutRun Amiga Edition v0.9.2 folder over into the shared PC folder (ClassicWB UAE v28\PC)
3. Launch Workbench using the A4000 Turbo configuration and after it booted up open the PC folder found on the desktop and find and open the folder from this post that you moved into it
4. Start the game from the executable shown in the screenshot that the cursor is under
5. Enjoy and be sure to read the txt file documents included for more info and go check out the itch.io page if you like

Note: there is a lot of configurations to be done first in the files of the other post. So make sure everything that was described in that other post is working before attempting to play this game.
