Got around to finishing my GBA SP build. Full USB-C mod done, new screen, RGB buttons, sound amplifier, dehiss kit, plus more. It was a lot of hours and work and I love it.

I've had this happen myself. I hate those touch sensors. Usually it's the paper thin copper pads just not being put in a good spot. Anything conductive, such as your finger, an accidental press, or the pads being touched by anything metal, like a screw or the PCB itself will cause them to react.

The screen I got for the GBA SP requires soldering and is a 1:1 pixel perfect recreation of the GBA SP pixel grid unlike the cheap Chinese LCDs on the market today. RetroSix has been doing some great stuff for the GameBoy market.
