Version differences:

  • Hi-res DOS version (1989): Added 320×200 graphics (still EGA palette) and slightly improved visuals compared to the C64/Amiga versions — sometimes called “hi-res” or “PC Enhanced” informally.
  • FM Towns version (1990): Featured 256-color graphics, CD-quality audio (Red Book soundtrack), and other small interface and sprite improvements.
  • All Non-English DOS versions are the Hi-res Version.
  • The German FM Towns version is smaller because it uses mp3 music instead of flac.
  • The Spanish FM Towns version is missing the audio tracks, you need to also download the English (first file) or German version and copy over the .flac or mp3 respectively. (.flac has higher quality but the size is bigger).

I like searching for cool hacks and translations of old games that were left in Japan. All translation and hacking credits go to their respective authors. I don't translate games :)
