Vita3k Compatibility (PC): Ingame+ No way of testing this on actual Vita hardware sorry. Does work with Vita3k while installing it as NoNpDm. I ran into light stuttering graphic issues, used OpenGL when testing.

Chatgpted this game title.

the title やはりゲームでも俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっている。 is a deliberate wordplay involving the English word "demo" and the Japanese particle でも.

Breakdown:

やはりゲームでも俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっている。

Transliteration: Yahari Geemu demo Ore no Seishun LoveCome wa Machigatteiru.

Official English title: My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU – Game.

Wordplay:

In Japanese, でも (demo) means "even in" or "also in".

So, ゲームでも literally means: “even in the game”.

But phonetically, でも (demo) sounds just like the English word "demo", which often refers to a video game demo (i.e. a short trial version of a game).

So the pun works on two levels:

1. Literal Japanese meaning:
“Even in the game, my teen romantic comedy is wrong as I expected.”

2. Wordplay with English "demo":
Sounds like “Yahari Game Demo”, implying “a game demo” of the series — as if it were a sample version.

Playing on Android, game seems to crash/get stuck after the OP. Anyone have a workaround for this?

I'm regretting giving my best friend my PSVITA... but well I'll just have to wait and buy a slim vita just to play this

Jumped out of my fucking seat, let's go. I had no idea this was being worked on, let alone released. Is there somewhere with more info on vita translation projects? White Album 2 would be a dream, and I believe the PC version has a complete english patch. It's nearly complete at least. I played the intro chapter nearly a decade ago.

Is the anime worth watching?
One of my absolute favorites. One of the more interesting/well written high school romcoms.

VNDB tags for this game say "bisexual protagonist" and I for one stand a bisexual king.
Holy fuck there's a Totsuka route (I assume)

Man, SNAFU to me is a blast from past anime reference and one I do not remember hating. VN version must be OK FUN.
They add more than even light novel version, and it's basically 8man simulator lol.

You can get the Sensei end in this one, right?

Why are you uploading all these VNs if they don't even have a fan translation...?
We upload all games we can. We also have Japanese members and people that can read Japanese.

That being said will try to reupload pre-patched.

I only played the games on Switch so IDK how different they can be. Seems things got too confused and I'm not sure if the same game remaked to other platforms or different ports. But I can say Switch ones are different than the light novels and its anime adaptation. You can experience different routes of characters that offers "what if" situations so you can also experience new things too. Sometimes the visual novels turns into "Hachiman Hikigaya simulator" and TBH this is what you would want from its visual novels. In that way visual novels are properly developed and gives you 1000% satisfaction.

Clearly the visual novels developed for people who don't wanna experience visual novel version of light novels or the anime, in fact they used visual novel potential of the whole story because the point is different routes and possibilities in visual novel. In that regard visual novels shouldn't be underestimated. I would prefer light novels over anime, but I prefer visual novels over the anime. Anime is okay enough but it doesn't have the all the fun, but I still speak for Switch games.
yeah thats what i figured from some of the other VNs ive played but i wanted to be sure before getting it and going thru the trouble of patching... thanks a lot!
