You can share more than one but the reason I'm asking is realized how little is my Manga list since i don't go out of my way and discover new ones so i wanna know what's people favorites manga and why
my favorite manga is a close call between Fist of the north star and JOJO SBR and i think a big factor for those 2 was how good of a read i got from them weather its the story art style or if it was adopted to anime the anime doesn't give it justice
so yeah i wanna read something new that didn't get an anime adaptation or the adoption was not even close to the manga so i can read more mangas next year

Surprisingly tricky question! I went down my list and found none... except for LIFE and Girls Und Panzer: Ribbon Warrior (which miiight be cheating, since GuP does have an anime).

haha yeah I'm surprised no one asked that yet, can you talk a lil bit about these 2 and why you picked them ?

20th century boys
started it last month with made in abyss, why did you pick it tho ?

I have read manga just for a short period of time, so my list would be very short and I don't even remember all the titles: my first and favourite is "The Flower Crowned Madonna" by Chiho Saito.
Nice to read for people who like stories (and love stories) set in history, this one has an Italian setting during pope Borgia's years.

Well, I mostly picked them because they didn't get an anime XD But sure. Let's see...

Life isn't a pleasant read (at least not at the beginning). It deals with heavy topics such as abuse and self-harm. It's brave and interesting, but I couldn't stomach it.

Ribbon Warrior is just amazing! It introduces a new character to an already great series and has her wreck havoc through the use of outdated tanks, unsanctioned techniques and her own code of honor. It's the only manga I have waited for and read more than once.

ok ok i see you yeah ill give them a read thx so much

Most probably "Xenon", by Masaomi Kanzaki, but it would have been amazing to have it as an '80 OVA miniseries. Also "Genzo", by Yuzo Takada. And "Tropic of the Sea" from Satoshi Kon would have been a fantastic movie. Same for "Chronowar" by Kazumasa Takayama.

Discommunication was made by the same mangaka as Mysterious Girlfriend X, and honestly I think it deserves an adaptation even more than it. Unfortunately it's not really talked about in any part of the anime/manga community, makes me curious as to what other overlooked ideas there are in minds of creatives.

I wouldn't say my favorite of all time but Fire Punch has no anime.
Love Fujimoto's stuff, Goodbye Eri is a pretty great one-shot

Chronowar ! Yes ! At last, a cultured man !
I would add Rookies by Masanori Morita and Version by Hisashi Sakaguchi.

Not a favorite of all time but i truly wish for a Gunka no Baltzar anime someday
can you talk about it a lil ?

It's a military manga set in a world similar to europe in the late XVIII century, there's some nice historical tidbits even though it's not the real world, it pretty much follows a military instructor sent to teach modern warfare tactics to a more traditional neighbour, it's still fairly short, only a bit over 100 chapters so far but I'm enjoying it

My favorite all-time manga is Crows and its associated sequels and gaidens (WORST, QP, etc), but it got a really subpar 2-episode OVA, so I guess I can't pick it for this specific question, heh.

- Rookies: It's about a high school baseball team made up of delinquents and it's really good. They did a live action series for it in the mid-2000s, but I don't believe it ever got an anime.

- Yotsuba&!: it's about a little girl named Yotsuba and her little kid adventures, from the same author as Azumanga. Really charming.

- There's one called 5 Minutes with You at a Convenience Store that might have an anime but I'm not sure, so I'll mention that too?

"Rookies", yes! I remember getting some volume sback in the days but I had to stop due to the difficulties to get the subsequent one. I really have to finish it, I loved the author style and the dynamics between characters. I checked "Version" and from the premise and cover I sounds and looks extremely interesting, I really have to find it! Thanks!

Spirit Circle by Satoshi Mizukami, my favorite mangaka. Definitely my favorite manga. All of his manga are very good but this one is special to me.
It's about the conflicts and lives of two people over the course of 7 lifetimes. A boy encounters a new classmate girl who has her previous lives tied to his in the cycle of reincarnation. Apparently he did something so unforgivable that the girl wants to kill him. He acquires a "spirit circle" that allows him to re-experience his past lives and uncover the truth.

I never read more than a few chapters, but Stan Lee's Ultimo was pretty cool. Kishimoto's Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru is another on my to read list, but Kishimoto does good work.

Vanilla Spider:
A long time ago, spider aliens invaded Earth, but in reality they are bad and eat innocent people. So a boy with the help of a friendly alien and using a water pipe as a weapon is going to fight the aliens and save the world.

It's only 15 chapters long and the art style is very unique
