There's an "Horror" anime called Pupa, the animation is stiff, the chapters are short (The entire series is in a single Youtube video) the plot makes JACK of sense, and the characters could slip under a door, the only horror the anime handles is filling the screen of Ketchup (The reason i dropped Elfen Lied too)

Have not watched many anime, is Mushoku Tensei Bad? i through so based on the first few episodes, but it does seem to have a large fallowing.

Now there's Youtube videos and a creator whose whole career can be based on finding the worst of old anime my personal watching history leads me to point to Dependents of Darkness for being boring and nonsensical in personal development of characters and weirdly dramatic with no pay off or proper build up. Could be from just terrible adaptation but I have no doubt the original manga also suffers from melodrama nonsense.

Some curious "anime" like Pillow Boys and others like it that are cheap hardly animated anime snippets of a "main character" addressing the watcher in a scenario they concoct to make the watcher feel included or invested in the character which to me I might have enjoyed as a horror or cheeky parody but yeah that "anime" and others that style is best reserved in the privacy of otome, vns and fandisks to take full effect of a target audience not thrown to the massive public to be ridiculed.

this will most likely rub at least one person here the wrong way but so far my least favorite anime i can say is objectively bad is Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha from the writing uninteresting and forced conflict horrible writing lazy character designs no anime aside from one other makes me angrier.

That's easy! Masou Kishin Cybuster.
It's slightly based on the original characters created for the Super Robot Wars series, but besides the names and some designs, the anime doesn't even try to adapt anything from the Masou Kishin game, instead it creates a new story... That is absolute garbage in every single possible way.

The list of everything wrong with this anime:
- Bad and stupid characters (except Mr. Ando, Sayuri and Mr. Kamijo, they are good).
- Awful animation.
- Terrible story.
- Bad fights.
- Unmemorable soundtrack (only the first opening and the second ending are good).
- Annoying villains (Shuu, Saphine and Dallas are NOT fun to watch, at all).
- The anime drags a lot, it has 26 episodes but it feels like it lasts for 40.

Only managed to finish this absolute dumpster fire because I was watching with a friend of mine and I wanted to make a review about it, but Jesus Christ, the amount of times the characters did something stupid was through the roof in this show.

If you are a fan of the Original Generation, this anime will be terrible. If you don't know the OG and don't care, this anime will STILL be terrible. No one wins with Cybuster, it's a bad time from beginning to end.

Basically, watch the real SRW OG anime: Divine Wars and The Inspector. They are great.

You would think from the master who made Ghost in the Shell and Dominion Tank Police that Gundress would have been a hit. I know it's not Masamune Shirow's fault, it's really the production company's fault. Sad, I kind of half-liked and hated Gundress.

Something Witty Entertainment abridged the series, and it's freaking hilarious. It's almost like it’s reversed, SWE made the original good version, and whoever made the original did a bad abridged of it.

I've recently tried to watch Sword Art Online. Had heard of it many times, often with praise. Now, I'm not one to drop shows mid season or even skip through episodes, and I generally like isekai slob and I even really enjoyed Shangri-la Frontier, which has a very similar concept. But man, SAO is just bad. The story telling is abysmal, so are the characters, so is the world, which normally plays a huge role in fantasy. Not in SAO.

There's is no sense of progression as Kazuto is established as already being a pro beta player and any leveling, traveling, etc. are non existent because the anime timeskips entire years on a regular basis. We never see him actually struggling or getting significantly stronger. He is as bland as tap water.

Any male sidecharacter either is jealous or wants to be his friend. Any female sidecharacter wants to get laid. Asuna is introduced as being a bad ass, but somehow ends up needing to be saved and put in the kitchen. Other girls meet Kazuto, fall in love, get their heart broken and disappear, never to be mentioned again, all in a single episode.

The world looks beautiful but none of the characters interact with it. You could change the background layer of every scene to basically aything and it wouldn't matter.

I bailed after the first season and skipped through the last two episodes of it. I'm happy for the people who enjoyed it, but I would rather watch The Beginning After The End than endure another second of SAO, which I think says a lot.

Green Green, Reign The Conqueror, Tokyo Ghoul Root A as that season pissed me off as Studio Pierrot made a dumb decision not to use Sui Ishida's draft, unzipped their pants and rolled down their panties and took a dump all over it making a complete stink on it as they don't care like they were tone deaf and Sonic X as Sonic The Hedgehog's spotlight got taken away by that Sora ripoff Chris Thorndyke as it was dubbed by the destroyer of anime which thankfully went bankrupt 4Kids as the voice acting in Sonic X was horrible as I facepalm at Sega's decision on using these losers for Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic 06, Sonic Unleashed and the Sonic Storybook games until Sega had enough of them and replace them with actors from Studiopolis.

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. The story is over half training arcs (the manga is even worse!), the main characters "honor system" is more chauvinist than anything; pair that with some of the most tasteless ecchi sequences, character designs 100% copied from Street Fighter, and a mangaka deathly allergic to anything resembling character development and you have a recipe for a one of the few things I'd give a flat 0/10. I have no idea how that thing ran for over a decade.

I can't remember what it was called, but about 20 years ago my friend and I rented a DVD and it had two female protagonists with the most horrible, shrill voices ever. The English dub on the disc wasn't any better and we turned it off after only about 10 minutes.

Besides Blodivores (I think that's what it was called), and Keijo it's mostly been bad fansub vhs or bad dubs (e.g. Manga dubs) from back in the 90's and early 2000's, or Netflix quality subs like the one for Chuunibyou that is just a word for word text transcription of the dub. This did help me improve my Japanese listening skills quite considerably though.
