One I can mention is that one where a character meets someone evil that pretends to be friendly or something like that but no one believes that character when they say the evil character is evil (sort of like that one cuphead show episode where cuphead and mugman have to take care of a baby, or the "a pal for Gary" Spongebob episode)

Miscommunication. I feel this is more common in anime for some reason, but if the main conflict of your plot comes from characters who just didn't trade information like normal human beings, I roll my eyes to oblivion.
Sort of like in Shrek 1 where Fiona is talking about her curse and Shrek thinks the "ugly thing" she was talking about was him?

Im tired of Isekai. The whole, "this boy is a total loser, but then hes magically transported into this world of big booba ladies and now has to be the hero." After Konosuba and Re:Zero im just done with the genre entirely.

cute mascot character that follows the main character around

this has become very common in modern films too, is like they can't write normal human beings anymore

Mine is super specific so I drew up a visualization for it

I'm simply tired of this trope here, the usual "contrived forced breakup because of a misunderstanding" or whatever, it's been way too overused, and it almost always feels artificial, a momentary dilemma that could've been just solved if people actually talked and explained things to each other, bah.

I'm also very tired and frustrated of the "Main character has the hots for a girl that doesn't give a crap about him, is clueless and rejects the other girl that clearly loves him for moronic reasons". Either played for comedy or drama, I just can't stand it anymore as someone that's very lonely and would give anything to find someone who would love me like that, sigh

Almost any time the antagonist whups the party's collective butts and then peaces out without finishing them off for no good reason. There are better ways to do this kind of thing, this trope is just lazy.

I dropped Trails SC for this when it did it like 3 times in the span of 10 hours.

Always bugged me when heroes/protags end up showing mercy or sympathy to a villain who's directly responsible for the problems in the story or the evils in the world but mow down goons or mooks just doing their job without a shred of remorse. Always makes the heroes morality seem a bit flaky.

Personally as of late is the sympthetic villain trope personally I cannot stand because the story will forgive the person despite all of the horrible things they did to others and their loved ones if they had any. Also hate it to make us feel bad for them.

Commenting about your product's lameness and plot, especially if you do it in an insincere way like with TTG's 40130'45713'0457'1347'6370 "Our show is bad yet we are popular" jab, or when Modern Simpsons self jab at their quality, makes it look like of you would rather point the flaw instead

In a more general sense, the typical character with the only collective brain in the setting being treated as if he was marked by the Mark of Sacrifice because "HAHALOOKATTHISGUYSUFFERINGBECAUSEHETOLDPOLITELYTOTHEANNOYINGPROTAGONISTTOSTOPBEINGANNOYING"
N O, i don't laugh, i feel pity and symphaty, especially while done within tandem with...

I seen that archetype die... and i don't care

I hate the villain redemption arc. It's so frequently done poorly, and often contradicts what the character is all about.

I'm seriously fine with the villain remaining a villain. And I don't think they should change just because plot. Give me a real reason for their 180°.

Something I've recently realized that I absolutely hate in sitcoms is the the courtroom episode, where all the characters have to either go to court or pretend that they're in court. One main character is on trial, usually for something silly, and the other has to dress up like a defence attorney in a dumb costume and make grand accusations and gestures, all while a judge snarks away and bangs a gavel. WHY DO THEY KEEP DOING THIS???

Pick a sitcom – even a high-concept one – and I'll bet you dollars to dinguses that they do one of these stupid courtroom episodes. I'll also bet you that it's one of the slowest, most boring, least funny episodes of the entire series. They must write these things using a Mad Libs sheet. GET IT TOGETHER, HOLLYWOOD!!!

I want a movie or show where the protags exile someone from their group for a really dumb reason only when the time comes for the “hey I’m sorry, let’s be friends and defeat the bad guy!” scene, said exile doesn’t forgive them and/or joins the bad guy because of how they were treated and the protags have to face the consequences of their poor judgement

FR, Them changing Venom in Spider-Man 2 so that Harry was never actually responsible for anything the symbiote did and wasn’t aware of anything the whole time was the dumbest fucking shit dude omg

Actually I'd say this is one of the very few examples of this trope being well executed

I hate heroes that never break and/or when they come with a no-kill rule.

I'm not 100% strict with this as I give a pass to Superman and Batman for a couple of reasons, but generally speaking I fucking hate it.

The whole "reincarnation" part of Isekai in general

I feel like it's been overused a lot lately
I totally agree, it’s becoming extremely tiring to me. It just makes the mc have this disconnection in a boring way(usually with some gimmick), also how they erase a character for them to take their place; How that character purely exists to add a another gimmick for the mc to hand wave away yet make a big deal of. Also how often the isekai world is the most generic fantasy world that they don’t do anything interesting with.

Some tropes that I don’t hate but are extremely hit or miss for me are

1) zombies, I think their interesting (also nostalgia of how scared I was of the idea as a kid), but a lot of zombie media is extremely tropey.

2) virtual reality, I feel like this can ether be extremely effectively, or make the story feel meaningless

3) Amnesia, it’s so over used. A lot of stories give it to their mc so they don’t need to write the character, not have to do something interesting with exposition. It’s become so common it’s comical.

For all these tropes when done their fantastic, but often are generic, lacking creativity, and are flat out boring

One trope that i truly dislike is something like what happens in Seven Deadly sins, main character is always trying to grab on someones breasts and it's supposed to be "Funny", different culture, different humor i do know but whenever that type of stuff shows up in an anime it just ruins it for me, another example is the Mineta character from My hero academia, the sole existence of that lil purple demon is to make dirty jokes, it just seems so outta place and whenever he is on screen i just get that yuck feeling
