What game has your favorite fishing minigame?

and if you like fishing games in general what's your favorite fishing video game? I've spent tons of hours fishing in Twilight Princess. It's also not bad with the Wii controls but I'd prefer to play the rest of the game with a regular controller. I also really enjoy fishing in Okami so it's hard to decide between the two.

Yeah, I suppose Twilight Princess has the best fishing minigame I've played. Most fishing games are kind of forgettable. Definitively not the one in Final Fantasy XII, that was awful.

Sega Bass Fishing on the Dreamcast is probably my favourite in terms of fun. Although one of the Reel Fishing games is probably my favourite fishing games because of how relaxing it is, which I don't experience much in video games.

This, basically. I get so much enjoyment from fishing up a whale with a regular fishing rod in the late game, but also just in general I love how much it's tied to the game. So many have actually useful effects as items, and being able to use fish as special currency is really unique.

Dark Cloud and BoF3 for the variety of lures and skill, FFXV for the fish designs. Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons's fishing mini game is bare bones in every game but it's a good break up from your usual farm chores and good side hustle when crops weren't harvested that day, so it gets a mention.

For me it's breath of fire 4 and probably zelda, now I'm addicted to fishing in Wuthering waves cause it felt like combination of fishing in zelda windwaker series+dredge.
boy i never thought i would enjoy and sink hours fishing in a gacha game...

Sea of Thieves.
It’s fairly simple but learning how to catch each fish is fun because some only show up in certain zones or during certain weather conditions. Love sailing into a storm to stop at a wreck to fish.

Fish from 5 pm to 8 pm and you get extra money to help early on.

I don't know if it counts as fishing but I really liked the whaling minigame in Assassin's Creed Black Flag. It was an action packed breath of fresh air considering other fishing minigames.
