What font did Zsnes use?

I'm trying to make Retroarch look like Zsnes for the funny but I am missing a critical component.

I doubt that was a "font" in the usual sense. It was a DOS program, from the time when fonts were pixel-based and simple as hell

Well that's a shame cuz all I'm missing is the font

So by the looks of it @jankusanagi is correct. It used some crude pixel-based font that you could customize.

There are probably raster bitmap fonts out there which look a lot like that one, some kind of "retro DOS game font".

As unoptimised ZSNES is objectively, I miss when emulator devs made nice original UI...

I feel like Retroarch is nice and original enough. You can really customize it.
Other than that, there are still lots of accurate emulators with funky UIs if you know where to look. ZMZ and Meka come to mind right now but there's one for each major system.
