Not where I want to be
Honestly I never got to play with much board games as a child or even as an adult with only my nephew having a passing interest in them. Wingspan caught my eye but with no family I could sucker into playing or friends nerdy enough it was just another box on the shelf as I shopped. Fast forward I look on Steam and find it there with AI opponent options for single play and online multiplayer as well as a few other games that caught my eye like Scythe and now I can enjoy them anytime, online or offline.

Any games you think that would go great online? I know plenty of skins are on Tabletop Simulator but I want full animation and models to enhance the experience than a VR room. So far I like what I see of Aldarra of the models and artwork but the game is massive in scope and size so that's my choice of what I hope will be successful to see a digital release to grace my Steam shelf.

Mouse Trap (1963). I like the idea of a video game revolving around building complex Rube Goldberg machines to accomplish mundane goals in a 4-way PvP arena.

Battleship
Operation
Well Battleship has been adapted into video games many times, including Super Battleship, Battleship Surface Thunder and the game based on the 2012 movie (which for some reason the PS3/Xbox 360 game was an FPS). As for Operation, I know there are some surgeon-like games like Trauma Center in the DS era, so an Operation video game could bring them back.

My pick for board games to be video games are:
*Star Wars: Escape from Death Star
*Omega Virus
*Dragon Strike (as in the one with the VHS tape)
*A new Risk video game
*A new Warhammer Quest video game
*Mage Knight (no new Mage Knight games released since 2006!)
*Dream Phone (hehehe)
*Tornado Rex
*Fireball Island
*Through The Ages
*Carcassonne (hoping a new game from it comes out, I love the idea)
*Avalon Hill's Advanced Civilization
*Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice (Why Ubisoft never bothered to make a digital version of like Eidos made GO versions of Lara Croft, Hitman and Deus Ex)

If tabletop war games count I would love to see a video game set to the game Infinity.

Very cool aesthetic with a decent sci-fi future story-line.

13/13 Dead End Drive: A point and click Horror adventure where you set traps to foil guests before the timer ends while solving clues.

Don't Wake Daddy: A Metal Gear style gameplay.

Candy-Land: 3D Adventure Platformer with different sweet worlds to explore

This board games come to mind.
Omega Virus as an objective game until one player finds the virus and excavate the space station with it before it explode while other players tries to kill the carrier and do the same thing.

-Fireball Island
-the Jumanji board game (I know the reboot with the Rock has one, but that one's supposed to be Meta because it's an actual video game I think?)
-the Atmosfear/Nightmare series (and yeah, I'm dismissing the SNES proto)
-Candy Land

Dude, thank you. I played this game once when I was a kid and have been trying to remember the name for almost two decades.
