Anyone else make video art with game parts or videos? Very wide and lose definition of video art here, anything from youtube poop to machinima to short films to reviews to aesthetic videos idk if it moves and involves game stuff put it here!!!!
I've been performing an a/v project called PLAY where each track is a live take to music made by taking various audio formats from PSX/2 roms and making stuff out of the bad rips/glitchy stuff that comes out of it (and reverse engineering midi into an editor to remove truly awful sounds that ruin the janky jammy fun), and then using elements from the roms to do live video mixing with old equipment. Like uh u know the projections in the background at raves its that stuff.
and also just editin down longplays to 3 min for editing practice and because its always funny
