In an announcement no one saw coming today, Nintendo have shadow-dropped their reveal of newest addition to the Switch family, none other than the successor itself! With a lot of info teased within the trailer itself. It’s been heavily speculated that the trailer would be upon us, but no one anticipated a shadow drop. Classic Nintendo!

YOOOO u beat me to it lol im kinda excited it looks cool i gave my switch to my gf cause i hardly used it i never found the fun besides playing like 1st party titles on it. So if they can market this well with a little bit more of a boost compared to the first switch I’m hype

Ya and they are both snoozing I need Microsoft and Sony to stop being so passive and just say fuck you to each other and use the companies they have to make games that make me want to buy their console. Crazy exclusives I can only play on that console

If we want to put in terms of "console war", Nintendo Switch outperformed both Playstation 4 and Xbox One in terms of sales. And kept being a competitor during PS5/Xbox Series X era.

Personally speaking, I liked Playstation 4 and I liked Switch 1. All the other consoles after those two IMHO have been utter garbage.
Except Steam Deck, Steam Deck is cool. But I didn't own one, went for another PC Handled instead.

I remember the ps4 trailer I was still in fucking elementary school bro shit was crazy I grew up at the end of the ps3 into the ps4 and that was my console all throughout middleschool and middle of highschool until I got my Pc

I don't just buy consoles on a whim. If it's backwards compatible with my Switch games then I've already got a huge library to play from, so I'll get it only if it is! I might wait just in case they do that thing they always do where a slightly better version comes out, or the first one has some awful problems like the drift.

The exclusives they are making don't impress at all. This year I bought mostly Switch exclusives.

When I saw the trailer I was like, man, the leaks were legit! And sadly, there was no hype.

I think I'll get one, funnily enough, because I want to give away my PS5.

So maybe I'll use some kind of store preorder and get it that way
