Just a note, I DL'd the IoG retranslation from here, and the file uploaded is an extremely literal and older translation. They're actively working on giving people a couple choices of translation, which is super cool -- just a note for anyone also interested in Gaia!

I'm excited to have a look at this Soul Blazer fix too. The Quintet games all got pretty lousy English localizations,

illusion of gaia needs a re-translation more than SoulBlazer but a lot of these early Enix games had some jank-ass broken translations. glad to see people trying to fix these.

Great! Thanku for this. I loved Terranigma and Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia so having an updated translation of this is cool. :) these games brought me to the awareness of spirit balls. :P

I liked this action RPG back when I played (and finished) it quite a long while ago. It's part of a loose series along with Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma and I think The Granstream Saga on PS1, but also Actraiser!
