Got the call to come back home because my dad took a turn for the worst and didn't have long. I rush to the airport and as I'm buying the ticket, they send news that he didn't make it. So I'm going down tomorrow instead. But as for today, pretty awful.

Lord, but I'm so sorry. Safe travels, and I hope you have ample time to remember him with the rest of your family. It's cliche, maybe, but that's what helped me in the same situation. Regardless, my fondest condolences to you and yours.

May 19th. I'm apparently reading this in Lotte Carmine's voice in Arakune's/his Calamity Trigger ending. It was somewhat difficult. My disability card refused to buy tickets for the train, as it tends to do on travel purchases. So I had to walk to the bank and get that taken care of, despite being super burnt out. Got it taken care of, but it kind of sucks that I had to waste energy on that. But I did it. There's also a disability discount, which was nice.

I flew today, from So Cal to Seattle. Travel days are always very long and this was no exception. Was seated across from a screaming baby and directly behind two young brothers who needed to fight the whole time and be LOUD about it. So now I'm back to my apartment and hoping about 40 consecutive hours of sleep can happen.

I've been unable to get more than 20 minutes of sleep at a time, so it's not too great. But I think it'll be this way until I get back to Southern California and sort out my dad's affairs, then my brain will settle down, hopefully.
I'm gonna be in Seattle for two more months and then I'm going back south, but I just hope between now and then I'm able to at least get a few hours of sleep in a row? Maybe resort to sleep medication soon, it's been awhile so even the stuff I can buy at the store should help somewhat.

I left work around 2 am because I've been sick for like a week and sleep has been really hard to come by. Made it back here and to bed around 3 am, and slept til almost 10 am. Most sleep I've had in a little bit, and I'm a firm believer that unconscious rest is the best kind. Only problem is, 12 pm-1pm is generally bedtime, so I don't know how pre-work sleep is going to go. Hoping for more rest and then maybe just... not being sick any more?

Quiet enough today my dads been quiet which is good as it gets as a carer. Discovered mario paint on the switch and ive been watching the new wwe unreal documentary as well as some need for speed on the PS5. Been feeding multiple cats same cat came back 3 times today hes went from being nervous to being my friend lol. Im busy tomorrow house cleaning and then theres sport on tv tomorrow night. Far as i know my happy gilmore hockey jersey is being delivered wednesday and a super mario custom baseball shirt is coming on friday which works well for summerslam and mario paint weekend.

Beaten in your home by the bobbies in front of your children, arrested, and beaten further in a jail cell (based on how the bobbies reacted to citizens daring to step outside their house during covid).

But don't worry, the UK is aware of VPNs and are working feverously to make those services illegal as well. Meanwhile, the UK still allows access to P*rnhub...but has cut access to Wikipedia where anyone can write a dissenting opinion based on fact.

This is false. I can still access Wikipedia just fine. Pr0n websites now ask for ID, and adult sites are making it very clear in their blurb that they disdain asking people for it, as it means losing about 90% of their customer base who just won't verify, along with the additional privacy concerns and extra workload etc.

I'm still actually really surprised this is all going ahead tbf. I imagine it will be rolled back soon enough.

i wont be using any site that wants my ID i dont even have a valid passport right now it ran out in feb but i havent needed it for anything thankfully. i know your google account will verify most sites.

Wikipedia is fighting with the UK government at the moment regarding access to their site. It was supposed to be banned from the news I watched.

As for the law being rolled back? Not happening, not without a full No Confidence vote on Parliament. Those 200,000+ signatures collected demanding to re-discuss the law for repeal as allowed per UK law? Parliament didn't even look at it, they just straight-up stated No and chucked the signatures out while going on the talk show/news circuit stating it's to protect the kiddies (while admitting the law WILL be used against everyone).
