So, how was your day? ?

.It was very good, it's been a very good day. I'm taking care of my mother, making sure she doesn't eat anymore.I am very happy.

Nothing interesting, just watching videos of how to learn Blender.

Yesterday I went and bought a pre-hung door, but I didn't install it yet because the weather is teasing rain and I don't want to do it until that passes. I also bought a pole saw/pruner and cut back a bunch of my tree.

Today I went and met some old coworkers for brunch kind of thing. One dude I hadn't seen since 2009, the other guy I worked with way back in 1999. Bunch of old bastards sitting around talking about old stuff and people who have been dead for years, but it was something different for a change so I guess it was okay.

It was really great, I'm feeling much better mentally, I'm improving, thank God. I am following someone's advice.

February 13th,

One of those days my great grandpa would've told me to get under the bed and stay there until the sun comes up. Nothing horrific, just a serious case of "if it can go wrong, it will go wrong."

Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow

It was ok. Got my money order for rent, got some groceries, went to AA and did laundry. I'm going to just relax and read some manga, maybe play a game or watch anime before bed.

Had fun played a lot of PS2, recieved valentines messages from the most perfect girl, had nice meals, Went cycling 3 times as it was sunny, Listened to a lot of good dj sets on mp3, got paid on friday bought games and have shopping on delivery for saturday afternoon. Phoned some friends which is good for mental health also. All in all great times.

Twas alright
Applied for a job at Ollie's with my job coach
Had Mickey D's and got valentines day chocolate and a Changeable

Got to bed around 3 am. Got up at 8, went and had a big beef burrito for breakfast. Came back home and passed out for like four hours. Got up and went to get a grilled ham and cheese for dinner. Then sat around. It is the laziest of Sundays and that is fine with me.

Lively lol had a lot of fun and dont regret a second of it managed to sleep to near 10pm as well. Got things arranged for the weekend and have great food to cook tomorrow.

Starter pulling out the linoleum in a bathroom I want to work on, and while scraping the old glue, I slipped and caught myself across the wrist with a big putty knife. So I decided that's enough work for today.

Slept like three hours and went out for breakfast with relatives, despite not being fully awake or in love with the idea of leaving the bed. Chicken and waffles, a nice lazy breakfast. Then I went and bought a new desktop pc, just to have one less thing to think about. Probably won't even open it today, because I had other things planned, but at least it's here.

Fed multiple cats, played some fortnite, watching WWF royal rumble 1989. Had messages from actors and celebrities on tik tok. Had pet pets from the cats which was nice.

Depression and anxiety just hit me like a truck. idk where it came from, been dealing with it for many years unfortunately. And it must have wrecked my hormone because I'm getting breakouts all over my face, don't know if it's eczema, psoriasis, perioral dermatitis, or idk wtf.

Hopefully things improve soon for you ::bigboss

Didn't slept that much today again, beside that everything it seems good.
I want to write something but i'm in a zombie mode, prose probably will be bad as always anyway. ::apollo

Busy feeding cats, playing PS2 talking to friends online, opening post which was a game and a box of sleepers which was timed nicely. Sunset looks good here it was dull and rainy earlier but the skies have cleared to make way for a nice end to the day. Im probably just gonna stick to my PS2 session tonight and come off social media for headspace. Got some of my visiting cats fed outside and found some pain patches they'll sort me out as
my chronic conditions are flaring bigtime today im happier when it gets dark.

Well, my day was wonderful. I woke up at 6 am, had breakfast, took a shower, made a cup of coffee and some biscuits for my mother, and gave her medication again. I'm here taking care of her.

Realized it's been a full year since the last time I ever saw my dad, when I left to move back to Seattle again. I miss that dude a lot. So not super great.

Everything is better now. Eczema are gone from my eyes so that's good. Still gotta worry about the POD around my mouth though, but they're severely dying down as well. I need to go back to writing again soon.

Had to rest as much as possible on monday which was achieved. Had a lot of PS2 gaming and 4 new storage boxes arrived to keep physical copies in. Im all go for the next 3 hours at least with town shopping and meeting so thats tuesday planned out. Good luck whatever you need to do today. I will have succeeded the next time i write here.

Stayed up to see the blood moon. It's about 10 minutes until the full eclipse, but it looks pretty cool even before that.

Speaking from my soul here, I've been contemplating and going in circles lately regarding my personal projects and feel like I would need some advice.

For a long time, I’ve always wanted to create something and publish it on the web, maybe a small game or a short comic, it could be anything. Any side projects to keep me going that isn't my main line of work, just to keep myself sane so I don't repeat the same mundane task over and over again that I do daily.

I feel like I haven’t made any real progress in that regard. I keep getting caught in this loop where everything feels too ambiguous or too big for what is supposed to be a relatively small project. Imagine this voice echoing in my head telling you the idea is “too much,” that it needs more depth, more polish, more everything, until it becomes overwhelming and I end up doing nothing at all.

It's like adding a line you've drawn yourself to remind you that when making something there is a limit to what you can do based on time and skill, but for any given reason that line kept being crossed and you decide to draw a new one, rinse and repeat.

As with any first step, I need to discipline myself one way or another. If anyone has done anything creative or related, how do you add restrictions and limit to yourself?

It sounds like you might be overthinking it. Like when you lose your keys and you're sure you've looked everywhere, but they're in your hand the whole time. If it's a creative thing to do for fun, you don't want to turn it into a chore or you're going to dread it.
If it were me and I were looking to do a comic, I'd make an account somewhere and post something small just to break the ice. Maybe it's an instagram where you doodle on one napkin per day and post it, just to get the juices flowing and get the practice and routine in at the same time? I don't know if that counts as discipline, though.
