NDS show off your Nintendo DS

just did a shell swap for my ds lite.
it was so ancient that i even had to end up resoldering speaker wires that were too brittle and came off -_-

wanted to show off the end product and thought maybe we can all show off our beloved nds

the shell is from extremeRate

sadly don´t own one any more as the hinge on mine gave up and well old Nintendo products costs a fortune tanks to it´s fans.

i've seen older 3ds models going for around $150 on aliexpress if you're keen on getting one!

I did a clear shell swap on mine many years ago, but accidently pinched the ribbon cable, so the top screen quit working after a while. Never got around to replacing it.

Currently using the Animal Crossing New 3DS with CFW.

the hinge with the ribbon cable is the worst part of repairing / shell swapping.

luckily the ds only has one, compared to the 3ds' 3 ribbon cables iirc
