Need help understanding modern script tools for games

Hi everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with some modern script-based tools that people use to enhance gameplay or automate certain tasks in different games. Recently I downloaded a tool from this website just to test how these new script executors work, but I’m still not fully sure how these tools interact with different games especially older or retro-style ones.
My question is: Do script executors or game automation tools affect retro games differently compared to modern titles?
For example:
  • Do older engines respond differently to script-based actions?
  • Is there any risk of performance drops in classic games?
  • Are such tools even useful for retro gameplay?
I’m asking because I’m trying to understand how modern scripting fits into retro gaming environments. Any guidance from experienced members would be really helpful.

Thanks!
