Most Replayable Games

Specifically talking about this year, I played Persona 4 Golden four times. Three of those were back-to-back, and honestly, the best one was the first run of the year.
I started with a normal New Game, and to this day I have no idea how I managed to get so much done in that first playthrough.

For the other three, I went with New Game+, but I never felt the same rhythm or performance as the first one.
By the way, next month I’m planning to play it again, a little before Christmas, I feel like the game’s atmosphere fits that season perfectly.

Almost every arcade game, metal slug above all
And the binding of Isaac, +3000 hours of gameplay, and if you're a perfectionist, you'll want to complete all three save profiles

Dark souls 1 and hollow knight both because i finished them using cheats and wanted to try again without cheats. after that i fell in love with them and i play both once in a while.

Honestly, pretty much any Valve game has so much high replayability. Portal, Portal 2, OG Half Life, HL2, HL2:DM, CS:S, TFC, L4D--then add on all the sourcemods that have been made through the SDK like the original Stanley Parable, Aperture Tag, Garry's Mod, Synergy and all those.

I'm not particularly a shooter for any game companies because I think that's lame but Valve/Source engine games were a big part of my teenage years and obviously with Steam itself, Steam Deck etc., there's little doubt that they would rank extremely high as a company I love a lot for a multitude of different reasons

for me any mmo game ofc >.<
Skyrim SE
Fallout 4
Morrowind
Fallout 3 and NV
Stardew valley
Sims 4
Mods make them replayable for years

Heroes of might and magic 1-3 I replayed them for 2.5 decade
Warcraft 2 with map editior you can make new fun maps and replay over and over.

Ark and conan exiles and minecraft.

Diablo 2 was an infinite loop that kept me playing for decades
not much content at all. but the loot system and pvp had me hunting items & plotting builds endlessly
its not the same anymore, unfortunately Blizzard found a way to break it

Mostly Any where the true ending requires another go. The OG Silent Hill games for the endings. PS1 RE2 for the scenarios. DMC games for the fun combat. Are just some off the top of my head.

I think the game i have visited the most after ending it is dark souls 1 (and maybe mario 64). It just plays different when you know what comes next, its design serves perfectly for a new player and a veteran one in good but distant ways. Said that, i think the star fox series sticks perfectly to this thread, you replay it until you are tired, thats the game xddd.

I replayed Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and Paper Mario TTYD like a million times back in the day.

I replayed Final Fantasy 6 and Majora's Mask a million times even further back.

Hmm... these days I do like endless games, like Minecraft, Animal Crossing and Story of Seasons, but I haven't replayed anything else in like, 6 years.

every single Persona game, basically impossible to do everything in a single run in persona 3,4,5
even a perfect run (100% social links, all persona, and missing nothing) you still have things you literally had no time for cause of the calender time limit those games have. i actually have a lot of fun hitting all the 'negative' dialog choices on NG+ because i can easily make those points up

Metaphor Refantazio (which I cleared 3 times back to back, hard mode, regicide mode, and a third on "storyteller" mode for the fun of it) basically close to being a Persona game, just much MUCH better than any of the persona games, absolutely a fun time. and this game you can do just about everything in one playthrough (except the newgame plus only superboss)

Trials of mana has like 3 different final bosses and 6 main characters, which you pick 3, and they sort of interact with each other (i played this game about 8 times and kept seeing new dialog lines)
throw in a lot of class choices and it's incredibly replayable
even the original SNES game (seiken densetsu 3) was incredibly replayable, and actually longer (and harder) than the full 3d remake was

almost every single namco Tales of game has new game plus stuff and features that unlock only in new game plus. i've played almost all the mainline ones twice in a row, some more than twice.

practically all the YS games that have a new game plus, YS 8 is basically my all-time favorite game ever, and NO GAME has come even CLOSE to that for me, it's absolutely a masterpiece of a game and i've played it a bit too many times.

all the Cat Quest games, are stupidly replayable, especially 2 and 3.
Cat quest 2 i've replayed like 20 times, the game goes to "new game +9" in other words the game scales up each new game plus with higher level enemies (and loot) nine times (at which point every enemy is near level 900+) and then the "Mew game" modes which is throwing modifiers into a run like magic only, no armor, 9 lives mode, turbo mode (x2 game speed), level 1 only, etc.
Cat quest 3 is just about the same with new game plus+9 and Modifier stuff.
CQ2 and CQ3 are local 2 player co-op also, pretty fun!
i've spent 100 hours on both 2 and 3 myself.

more recently, i can't tell you how much time i spent on Vampire survivors
jeez... they keep adding more to it!
they added among us dlc map, they added a contra dlc pack,
they added a castlevania dlc pack thats SO MASSIVE, it practically doubled the game size! and they JUST ADDED MORE CASTLEVANIA IN A RECENT UPDATE FOR FREE
and then they got free DLC with a Balatro map, and SaGa emerald beyond map.
on PS5 the game says i played 140 hours, on Steam it says 70 hours, i've also played it on mobile, and had it on my ps4 prior to that (no clue since it didnt show playtime)
and they also ADDED ONLINE CO-OP finally! and it's pure chaos.
