Modding suggestions?

I have just brought an og XBOX should arrive in a couple of days what mods would you recommends. What games should i play? Suggestions are very welcome.

As far as hardware maintenance, definitely do a capacitor swap and hard drive replacement. The original Xbox's capacitors are known to fail and leak all over the motherboard, and the hard drives are starting to fail too. Another might be to replace the disc drive band, as those are starting to wear out too, resulting in disc drives that don't open/close.

Like Nidstang said, Capacitors are likely to die. The most likely ones to fail are the ones that are bulging at the top or have an orange stain on them
For hardmods, Consider a modchip. This makes HDD upgrades easier, and makes it easier to repair and mod your xbox.

For games, I recommend PGR2, Hitman: Blood Money, Midtown Madness 3, Amped 2 and Halo 2

I know absolutely nothing about hardware but my favorite OG xbox games were Mech Assault and Hulk. Always wanted to get another old xbox but it always sounds like the expiration date on components is rapidly approaching.

I just dug my OG Xbox out of storage yesterday. If you can track one down, definitely get a mod chip put in and get your self bigger hard drive. I had a Xenium chip that didn't require any soldering, just plug it in, however I eventually replaced it with an Xecuter 3 since you can do a lot more with that one.

As far as games go: Halo 1 & 2, Mechassault, Forza, Jade Empire, Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic, Dead or Alive 3, Need For Speed Underground, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Sega GT.
