Hi everyone!
A few months ago, X user azya released an emulator for LCD games:
Download here: https://github.com/azya52/BrickEmuPy

To run the BrickEmuPy emulator (main.py), you have to install Python and PyQt6 first.

And guess what, it can run The Legend of Zelda: Game Watch manufactured by Nelsonic.

The ROM is, obviously, not distributed with the emulator and I just can't find it.

The only clue I found is: and
I've tried everything: download both the JPG and PNG files and rename them. It does not work!
Convert the pictures to binary. It does not work either!
I sent a DM to MrTalida but in vain. I commented his videos on YouTube but I think my messages got moderated.

And I don't know what else I can do, but ask for you guys if someone has the ROM.

Thank you very much for reading and for your help!

Cheers!

I'm not sure if it's the same, but if you look at the last comment in this video there's a link for download, and it says "Zelda Game Watch": just tried to be of help but you have probably looked everywhere already :( I hope you can find exactly what you're looking for!

I've checked both images despite I know websites usually takes your image and changes it to upload it for many reasons. To reduce file size, adjust its resolution and most importantly act as anti-virus so people won't hide malicious codes into picture and have it fuck the system. So if he hid the data in a pic file it was lost in upload and he has no idea about it or he really pulled of some clever shit that even during upload process the data wouldn't be lost and he did hid it so well lol. From what I comprehend these image files are plain image file, can't imagine if there is hidden rom data there lol.

As for the rom file due to rules you can't put piracy link unless its from the repo so IDK google "Game & Watch: Zelda (1989) download" or something.

I hate compression from Twitter.

Hi again guys! Finally, a friend of mine converted the PNG to BIN and it works!! I'd be very happy to share this with you, but it's against the rules to share a ROM outside of the repo isn't it?
Yes. And then this website doesn't have Game & Watch platform too.

So the clever devil hid it well and somehow the image file wasn't changed by the website the pic was uploaded. Wow. I would like to learn how the data was extracted from it at least as hint lol.

Anyone know if this has been seen on MAME like most all the other handhelds that are available?
Or if anyone knows how to convert it to work on MAME? Including the images.

I've only registered here to show you a tool I created to convert certain PNG files filled with black and white pixels designed by MrTallida to a BIN file, hope you'll find it useful!
- png2bin, convert PNG to BIN by @mmoroca
