When entering the Hellena Prison area, after Dart hides in the merchant's carriage and he enters the prison when they lower the bridge for him to enter, the game remains on a black screen with the audio still playing.
I tried with all of the emulator's video renderers but the error still happenned. (I use epsxe bc my game tv stick doesnt support duckstation)

I don't have experience with emulation in android, but maybe you can transfer your save file to duckstation, pass the problematic part, save again, and transfer it back to epsxe.

I gave up on epsxe due to random bugs that would pop up as well as various rendering issues. I switched to DuckStation and haven't had any problems yet.

Ah, just saw your reply above regarding Android TV.

So you can't play it using Duckstation even for a few minutes? (i'm sorry i don't really know, and i don't know what's a tv stick! ?)
Are you playing it on tv or on phone?
If your device is special and you can't use any other emulator in it, you can play it on a phone or pc temporarily until the problematic part of game is passed.
But you need to transfer your save file to them first.
Do you think you can do it?

By the way, if you want to fiddle more with epsxe, you can try Interpreted CPU mode too.
Preferably with software video renderer.

Try the LoD community's unofficial port Severed Chains as an alternative to emulation. Aside from all its other benefits, hundreds of retail bugs are fixed. I dunno if it'll work with your "game stick" but it should be able to run on any device that supports Java.
