I agree he said a lot stupid things in his rap like f his kids

I gotta second that opinion. Eminem was never my cup o' tea, but you gotta admit the first couple of records were good. He's a great example of an artist who held on to their technical skill, but who's art never really grew or evolved, so they fell off. Everything of his I've heard from the last 20 years is still just kinda either adolescent anger or adolescent humor. I'm sure there's deep cuts with some substance that I'm just not hearing, but I can't see putting that work in when there's so many other artists doing stuff I like without having to sieve the nuggets from the dirt. Still, I enjoyed his weird beefs with Mariah Carey and MGK. Hatin' is a sport I'll always watch.

In my opinion, yeah I think so, listening to his album; Relapse and Recovery back to back, I can hear noticeable change on his style of music.
Still listens to Em to this day although he isn't my first pick when it comes to rap.

I think he's genuinely talented but after growing up it's really not my taste anymore. I hate to use this term but he comes across as incredibly 'corny' to me. In my opinion he raps like an out of touch Facebook parent (which is a large part of his audience from my observations.)

Not to discredit his genuine talent because in that regard he is a 'good artist' but I feel like his newer music can't hold up the same way his older stuff did during that time.
