Sorry for being late. got busy.Bruh...you did NOT said what you just said...
If you are OG as you claimed, you wouldn've known about this fact.
If one of the OG fgc oldheads said it's hard, regular people, regardless of your 'experience', will have a hard time. Is it impossible? No....but why have a game where the cheating difficulty is making it hard for regular folks to enjoy?
What you are proposing is like telling someone....if you do not have stamina to complete a full 42km marathon race, then you shouldn't run at all. Running 'short' 10km races are for 'babies'. See how ridiculous this sounds?
Btw, Here's Justin wong having hard time with it.
Also, try to think bigger than yourself. Not everything is about or catered to you. If there's a thing that you don't like, it just means that it's not for you but for someone else. You are not at the center of the universe. Enough people like sf6 and t8. Who's to say their taste are the bad ones and yours is the good one? Last I check, nobody assigned you to be the arbiter of good fighting games.

*Doomsday Zone intensifies*Nah bruh, we got EVO tournament participants posting here. Us scrubs could never ever ever ever beat Akuma. We serve no purpose, we should *something something* ourselves NOW!![]()
Damn, that's embarrassingI think it's worth noting that Sm0k3's "proof SSF2 is easy" Fightcade screenshots are labelled as "SSF2X" - or to normal people, the Japanese version. The difficulty wasn't borked for the JP original, if you have it on a setting of one it's easy; eight is hardest.
The problem here is the US/world version defaults to eight regardless of the setting, which is why the AI needed a nerf.
tl;dr - bro's saying "see it's not that hard" by playing a literal easier version.

I have been playing Street Fighter since 1993 my guy,i may not be a "pro", but i'm a decent player with 3 decades of experience. this game is a cakewalk if you actually put up the work.
Only a "modern" casual scrub will complain about the difficulty, that's the problem with "gamers" today, they want instant gratification and be "good" overnight...that's why trash games like Street Fighter 6 or Tekken 8 exist today, sadly.

You look like the average Lowtiergod viewerSays the one who loves playing on baby easy mode, git gud scrub.
Man Almost all of us have beaten Akuma, it is difficult yes but it was achieved
Says the one who loves playing on baby easy mode, git gud scrub.Loll, the fool is you my dude![]()
Nerfing the AI and making things fair for the player?? CHEATING!
Loll, the fool is you my dudeTo you and the fools that doubt me, hare are couple of MY personal fightcade snapshots playing against Gouki/Akuma AND beating him.

Exactly, and NBA Jam and many others. I get it, it's arcade, but home releases shouldn't have that kind of cheating as default.Like mk2 in its original arcade version that also used cheats and such
Like mk2 in its original arcade version that also used cheats and suchOthers have already explained the context of the hack, It is a welcome change. The difficulty settings do not work as intended because the game was designed to munch quarters; the difficulty was unchanged for the console releases in this case.
Of course the unchanged difficulty is beatable, that was never the point, but you have to rely on cheesy strategies to a ridiculous degree. The AI plays by different rules on most fighting games of old, but this was taken to an absurd extreme with SSF2T and HSF2.

hahaha hell yea broAre you serious, people are so scrubby that they hack the game to make it easier instead of simply going to the "option" menu and lowering the difficulty? bro...

Hyper SF2 is an official update of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo..... released as a 10th anniversary celebration of the SF franchise.
It retained pretty much everything from SSF2, including the AI difficulty, while added every version, color schemes and portraits of every SF2 characters prior being selectable.
Noticed i mentioned it retains SSF2T's difficulty. And SSF2T's difficulty is legendary in the FGC for how bullshit it is because it's essentially cheating by input reading the player and having frame perfect reaction to it. It will input reads at every difficulty...
If you really think you are that good, you can try the OG game, tune down the difficulty to 1 star.... I'll very much like to see how you will be able to reach Akuma, let alone beat him
That is very interesting. I dont know anything about fighting games, so just to see if i got it right: the AI reads the input at the exact moment you press the buttons, reacting to that instead of the visual feedback of the game - which is what the player reacts to?I see you are a young grasshopper so you do not know the historical context of Hyper SF2.

In the base game, at least in the American, Asian or other regions outside of Japan, even if you lower the difficulty, the game was still difficult due to a failure to control the behavior of the opponent's AI that ignored the limit of the difficulty chosen by the user in the game that made the AI remain aggressive at all times and that is also that the game did not have an option To regulate the difficulty, on the other hand, in the Japanese version of the game at least it had a fairer AI and according to the user's level of difficulty for the game, making it more balanced and fun and you save more continues to complete it.Are you serious, people are so scrubby that they hack the game to make it easier instead of simply going to the "option" menu and lowering the difficulty? bro...
