Does anyone know why everytime I tried installing this into Vita3k, the installation completed so fast and the game couldn't be opened? (It also only appears as white circle on my vita3k's home screen without the game name although the game ID still exists)

Here's how the game appears on my home screen (bottom left corner)

THANK YOU! ABSOLUTE PEAK. I'm glad I lived this long.

100% translated? Or translated enough to where it's 100% playable?
98% Translated. Loading Screen Tips and the Girls’ comments about each other on the bonds screen aren’t translated, but neither of those will affect your ability to play and complete the game’s story.

Thanks for posting the patched version! When I got into Madoka Magica, a few months ago, I was desperately looking for the actual patch (as I'm no programmer and suck at converting files) so it took me a few weeks to get it right
Now you're making it more acessible for us dumb folk :^P

I think I saw this game a long while ago, saw it was turn based and jp only and didn't think much of it. I'm surprised to see I was wrong and it actually seems like an ARPG, (maybe I'm thinking of a different madoka magica game?) so now I'll try it out and see.

I'm a big fan of Grief Syndrome, the Madoka Magica game made by twilight frontier (same devs as many great touhou games including hisoutensoku) and I absolutely adore that game, it did an amazing job adapting the characters and somehow never gets boring even 7 years later. Just looking at the youtube gameplay it seems kind of like those fire emblem and hyrule warriors games, which I wasn't too big a fan of, but maybe the combat is better in this game?

They need to do a sequel to this with the English voices included instead of more gacha. I got the platinum way back using a guide. The developers also made my favorite Dragon Ball game

Is EVERY GAME for Vita about teenage ANIME girls in JAPAN or am I missing something? Seriously are there no games that wont make feel like a dirty old man? I am one but I dont want to FEEL like one.

I'd rather have cute anime girls as opposed to ugly-ass characters pushed by the current woke companies.

I hope nothing bad happens to these girls....

mmm.... having watched the original anime, it's not your typical magical girl story. 3rd episode in, a main character gets brutally killed (then eaten), and 'shit gets real'. Though how closely this follows the anime i don't know.

Did this release fix the weird visual bug on emulation where all the effects only showed up in the upper left corner of the screen?

Many "fanservice" games are like this. Never expect the same level quality as a game properly made by a good dev. Artdink is just ok, they made many simulation and mechs games, but have little experience creating a proper musou, and this genre is kind of special. I've also seen some tries in the past that didn't end well.

Yeah, it's a total different timeline. If you never played the PSP game, do it, it's a very good and solid game and it's based in the anime.
Artdink is an ok company, their gundam games are pretty good. They must've been rushed to hell, to match the movie release (gekijouban)

Japan like their cute anime girl like westerners like their ugly, gay creatures.

Look it this way, licensed games is BIG business in Japan, companies will make games for them no matter what and it can be as cheap as possible, considering they can just use anime captures as ”cutscenes” . It's not like western cartoon where the customers are mostly little kids depending on parents to buy for them, otakus will burn serious money for their waifu.

This game though, I can't say good thing about it. You see, the ”Battle Pentagram” refers to the relationship gauge of the five characters. To reach the true ending, you will have to fill them all. And you will have to grind for them, ALOT. And true to the show, each run is a loop. You will experience true Homura suffering repeating 90% of the game with just tiny bit of different dialogue while struggling to fill the damn gauge. Oh, and only ranged characters are good for this game, melee struggles to even hit properly. I hated it so much I sold it off.

Enjoy.

Different from its PSP game?

If one feels like a dirty old man maybe it's because he is, there is nothing wrong with this kind of games.

Madoka is kinda like a subversion on the magical girl trope, highly recommended

Feels like it's more a selection bias for "Games released for the Vita, that didn't release in English, that someone would be a big enough fan of to hack an ENG translation into" every step in that is going to push it towards cute anime girls.

MAN the timing on this game is crazy. I just watched episode 1 of the anime last night to check it out. it's got some trippy visuals, and enemies. Hell, I'm not even sure if that even WAS the enemy like wtf did even I watch lol! Oh well, at least I have this to download if I end up loving it. Oh yeah, and the agent of consent in Japan is 16 so they're viewed as adults over there. Use that info wisely...

i knew i had to get my hands on this asap
