It really is annoying how often people throw acronyms around expecting everyone to know what they mean. I am sometimes guilty of doing it myself, but I usually try and only do it when I'm pretty confident people will know what I'm talking about

Sadly I have the very same experience in my job. People talking about many things and using acronyms all over the place. I always convert all the acronyms, even if they are things very common, to the complete words. It's even better for my brain to remember them lol
