Description

DON'T FORGET TO READ THE READ ME!

Daemonica is an overhead adventure game where you enter a town and investigate someones murder with only your wits and potion making skills to help you solve this violent murder! Not only will you be exploring the city for clues and talking to the many citizens of the world, you will also be exploring to find herbs for potion making. You never know when you're gonna need one!

It's very much a story heavy game that has you going around talking to people and figuring out progression puzzles along the way. There is also a combat system but it's very much not the star of the show here and was only used one time in my testing period. Maybe the game gets way more combat heavy later but this is adventure game first!

Enjoy!

Nice, I actually found this at a thrift store awhile ago but this is much more convenient.

If anyone is interested in seeing it before trying, here is test subject #8675309, explaining and playing it. I believe you call him Ross.
Thanks for sharing that! I do like his channel.
Thank you for preserving this game. I'm excited to play it. On my modern pc i tried using the widescreen patch to play at 1080 resolution since the game doesn't support that resolution; however, when I get to the main menu, it's all black, and I can only see the cursor. I followed these steps and had no luck. https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/3605-daemonica-widescreen-fov-fix/
That's one of the reasons why I didn't include it. I saw it screws up a lot of things so I just kept it as is.

Looks like a cool game! ::scrooge-greed
I liked it! Even put a bit more time in it for testing then normal ::biggrin

AlmaElma123 preserving the golden age of forgotten, hard-to-emulate, PC gaming gems! A queen! <3

I try my best! Thank you!
Always bringing the bangers! Can't wait to dive into this.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it ^^
Please stop dropping peak all the time Alma, lol

Thanks for sharing cool obscure games!
You're welcome! I hope you like it::biggrin
Nice I’m definitely adding this to my head canon Castlevania timeline!
Castlevania: Puzzle of the Night!
You're really doing exactly what the Windows section should be utilized for; obscure mostly forgotten games that are hard to run on modern Windows without these fixes applied to them and also ports of other stuff to Windows (like your Dusklight post) If not for your handling of these games they could end up lost since sites like MyAbandonware don't care about them as much. At the very least you're helping to bring a new audience and awareness to them. I've literally not heard of any of the PC games you've posted so far (and that's a good thing)
Thank you ::heart One thing about MyAbandonware is that is has the quantity of games but a lot of them are just "Here's the ISO, good luck" which is fine for people that know how to utilize it properly but it's a barrier that some people don't have the patience even know how to overcome it. I still love that site though obviously!
