Amazing hack, hopefully this opens a gateway to more SoTN hacks.

Only difference as far as I can tell between the Maria of the PSP and this, is that in the PSP version you can have 2 subweapons on Maria and switch between them and in this just one.

Not the Maria from the Saturn version, where you can make her go kamekameha, but hey, we can now play as Maria in SOTN without having to pull out a PSP or a Saturn. Cheers for that.
Maybe someday we have a hack that even let's you choose between Alucard, Richter, Maria PSP, Maria Saturn.

I'd like that.

why when i start the game after the richter intro i still play alucard?

Just a note, I believe you need a "Clear" save file on your memory card to play this correctly. When I originally tried this on a fresh save in Retroarch, with a new game named "RICHTER", it started me out as Maria in the "Bloodlines" opening act, but after finishing that scene, the game then proceeded as usual, with Alucard. Since the "RICHTER" mode in the OG game requires a "Clear" save present, I tried again with an .srm file containing one, and the new "RICHTER" game I started skipped the "Bloodlines" scene and opened at entrance to the castle, the way the Richter run is supposed to start, with Maria.

this should been part of the description of the repo the repo makes it sound you can play maria from the start & the github page says nothing about that

I have never played symphony of the night and I'm unfamiliar exactly how you unlock richter or alucard in the gane, how exactly does this work? I've always been curios to play maria's campaign.

Finally i can play her without suffering from bad glitch graphic and loooooong loading screen(looking at you SATURN ver.)

For a CSotN Isohack that counts as Maria as a Playable Character is quite curious and interesting at the same time.
