How run with FBNeo:

1. put your paprium.bin rom into a paprium.zip archive, put that archive into a folder named megadrive, genesis, or megadriv.
2. put the paprium mp3 audio files into another paprium.zip archive, put that archive into your FBNeo samples folder 1
3. launch the paprium.zip created in step 1 with the FBNeo core.

Obviously, you’ll need a recent version of the FBNeo core.

I feel like it should be mentioned, but newer games should NOT be uploaded here. Need to respect and support the team, and BUY the game. This way we can see more great games being made.

I usually feel that way to but after seeing how this company scammed it's investors and the retro gaming community if and when I actually get a working copy I'm dumping into every rom site I can.

I've been trying to get a working copy(with sound and no crashes)and as soon as I do I'm giving it away for free after I found out how bad this company scammed investors and the gaming community.

Honestly, I was more excited about the very excellent homebrew Final Fight port for the Genesis than I ever was Paprium. Almost done, but when it is, I think it's being released for free?

I feel like making an ironic joke about the logic, but I would go with the legal ramifications and consequences argument, especially with horrible companies. Those are the ones that tend to skip C&D and go for lawsuits....like Nintendo

The issue is the game is specifically made with special ASIC and big ass memory chips with special music format that is made specifically to make the game unemulatable, harder to dump. Touting "REAL GAMERS PLAY ON REAL HARDWARE" and then the game runs on something that is not the real hardware at all, like if I plug a rasperry pi to a NES and run DOOM on the pi that is not using the real hardware in way I would assume it means but OK then paprium team.
The sheer resistance against this from some who custom built an emulator to emulate this title it's bullshit and all in any way is a statement and strong aura.

As far as the big audio files are concerned it shouldn't be there are MD+ rips with higher quality audio of Mega Drive/Genesis roms. How would this be any different? Wouldn't you just have to patch the rom, and make it more of a Sega CD rip? If you can back up, or rip the audio from the cartridge.

It is not just the audio. Like said there is special hardware, some special shit being done. Heck for all we know, the game is actually using MP3's and actually playing them back with the help of "Real Hardware" on the cartridge. I do not know. I just remember this being the case and something some people joke about, me included, when Paprium team also touts how real retro gaming is done on real retro hardware without emulation and other bullshit. Minus the other bullshit they add themselves.
I am not an expert in this, all I am from my limited knowledge saying "There is likely a very Paprium shaped reason why this dump and this emulator for this dump was made this way". But any specifics I wouldn't know. I just take something other people did and assume there is a reason. If it was "more of a sega CD Rip" it would not likely fit, since lossless audio takes that much more space than 400 megs of lossy files, that much is sure.

I do not condemn piracy nor encourage it, I think it is up to each person.

But it is true that Watermalon scammed consumers, and its communication with them is quite problematic. They got the know how, but when it comes to developing mainstream games (no matter the type of game) in the XXI century, you need more than that.
