I don't think this adds anything new other than the resolution, but it's better to keep the classics alive than to completely forget about them.

I know this is a classic, but I've put off playing this for years. I'm assuming this is the definitive version? Or is Sega CD still better for the A E S T H E T I C S?

For me more than the aesthetics the Sega CD version is better for the new soundtrack. The 3DO version does come with different backgrounds though if you are interested

I have played the MegaDrive version of it... and loved it so much!
The game is a mix of platformer and puzzle.
And the story is rather short and simple, but nicely done!

One of the platform games with an artistic style which is something basic but beautiful that is known for its very high learning curve and this applies to many versions of the game.
