These games are made by 3 random guys in a basement office in Kyoto using a pirated version of RPGMV. If you actually sit down and play one, you'll notice they're literally carbon copies of RPGs from the 90s (like Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, etc) as far as story goes. Some have interesting gameplay elements (like one has a pseudo-materia system which also lets you get unique skills by mixing the orbs or whatever they use) but it's such a generic game I can't even remember the name. My advice if you're TRULY interested in these games is to get them on sale, they are constantly at 2-4 dollars per on Steam, Switch and other platforms. And even then, some of these are BAD AF or have had their EXP rates dropped to such ridiculous degrees so you buy the 2x/3x exp boosts they sell.
But their biggest sin, as many point out, is how generic they are. Play 1 and you've played them all.
Edit: To add to this, they originally made a TON of these games for iOS and a few got ported to Android throughout the years and when the Switch came out, they just started porting them there. If you're wondering why they have so many releases and feels like they release a game every month on the Switch, that's why. A lot of them were already released on iOS years ago.
